love.
My first love, age 10, Tretorn sneakers. Until my neighbour's puppy pooped in (yes, in) them. I think I'm ready for another pair.

Week 1 - the garden is in my sole care. No obvious changes (although the tomato plant in the top right corner is looking a little pale?)
Our potted tomato plants though ( we have to nurture them inside before they can be moved out), these bad boys are taking off! I like to think it's because I talk kindly to them when I come home from school.
Lucky for me, my mother who is an avid and successful gardener has sent us a wonderful book to assist in the garden-rearing. This book will help us (me) "grow our own organic food on a 3-foot square." I hope that's guaranteed.
(published by The Experiment out of New York whose tagline is "Because every book is a test of new ideas, I like that very much)

I'll be modest, it's not that I am psychic, but I do have a gift.
Upcoming predictions:
The LL Bean Boot
The original Duck Boot (a condensed version of the bean boot)
The Aran sweater (move over Cowichans)
Trust me friends, just trust me.
(even better if the sweater has old leather-covered buttons)
Peace.

homework, dreaded homework
This blog is being written under duress. Getting your Masters in
Publishing requires: a love of books, an acceptance of technology, and the writing of a
blog.
That being said, I don't have much to say.
For my design course we had to re-design a magazine, a book and
create a personal identity project.
Should mention that the original magazine and book covers
appear just before the re-designs
(Granville - weird grass necklace/jungle theme,
River Why - super 80's crazy font cover).
